|Welcome to - Cestria Primary School Blog|
Today we have been baking an Easter surprise....tomorrow we are going to be adding the decoration!!!
We have used our literacy skills to read a recipe and find the correct ingredients, we have used our senses to describe the different smells and textures, we used our maths to measure the ingredients and time the cooking.
Tomorrow we are going to be demonstrating our artist talents as we decorate our creations - just wait until you see the finished products!!!
Red Class had a fantastic time at the PE festival at Park View School today!! They joined in all of the activities with enthusiasm and huge smiles on their faces!
They were jumping, throwing, bowling and balancing to name just a few of the activities!!!
Teachers from other schools commented on the outstanding behaviour and excellent listening skills demonstrated by all of our children! We are extremely proud of our children and it was a pleasure to watch them participating this afternoon!!!
We received a letter from the 3rd little pig asking for our help. He wanted us to help keep everyone in his village safe from the big bad wolf!! We were keen to help him - we made super posters, traps to catch him and used magnifying glasses and maps to hunt for clues!!
On Friday we played 'What's the time Mr Wolf', practised telling the time and drew some amazing clocks in the playground!!!
